The Role:
The Power BI Manager is responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of critical business intelligence initiatives and projects that will contribute to strategic decision-making across the Group and secure real-time data to our places of play (the clubs). You will report to the Head of Internal IT.
The Power BI Manager should successfully:
- Ensure that our Place of play and Group have real-time data and forecasting for decision making.
- Work closely with Commercial Managers and finance to ensure business needs are met.
- Improve the maturity of the Data Analytics function within the company.
- Take the organization from basic reporting to analysis to monitoring to forecasting to predictive/prescriptive analytics.
Key Tasks:
The Power BI Manager’s task is to create business intelligence tools, visualizations/dashboards, standards, and insights presentations to Group Management and Club Managers
Areas of responsibility:
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports based on stakeholder’s requirements.
- Pull data using SQL.
- Present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and customize ETL processes.
- Guide the team and ensure outputs are on time and on target.
- Ensure milestones are met and stakeholders are satisfied.
- Improve the maturity of the Data Analytics function within the company.
- Take the organization from basic reporting to analysis to monitoring to forecasting to predictive/prescriptive analytics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business statistics, or another related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with developing BI reports and dashboards.
- Strong expertise in Power BI and SQL.
- Experience with Back-End Development (Python).
- Proven track record of translating stakeholders needs into tangible figures.
- Knowledge in CapEx/ OpEx budgets.
- Knowledge in Azure Data Factory, DevOps, SQL DB.
- DAX.
- Power Automate.
- RPA.
Desirable to have:
•Insights to the world of IT infrastructure to support the connectivity with internal systems.
•Experience from international start-up/scale-up.
