Frontend Architect (React) at Nordic Insurance Software

Our team and tech stack

As we are growing rapidly, we are looking for a new colleague to join our development team in Copenhagen and play a crucial role in taking our front-end development standards to the next level by focusing on creating a functional and attractive digital environment for NIS clients, ensuring a great user experience. In our team there are 2 front-end-developers, 14 backend/full stack- developers and we are expanding continuously. We are around 45 employees in Denmark (5 different nationalities), 10 in Poland and 2 in Canada.

You will be part of a department of developers located in both Denmark and Poland and work closely together with other departments during the development process.

We use a wide range of technologies and languages like TypeScript, React and GraphQL in the front end, and our backend is primarily based on .NET Core.

What we expect

You have extensive experience in React using TypeScript and you can take up the role of being the “The go-to person”.

You probably have experience in several of these areas:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Architecting a complex front-end application.
• Participate in code review and ensure high code quality.
• Knowledge of devtools.
• Decomposing projects into smaller units that can be delivered iteratively.
• Whiteboarding problems with your peers.
• Write automated tests using Playwright.
• GraphQL.

Your background

You have a relevant IT education in Computer Science, Bachelor in Web development or similar with at least 3+ years of experience delivering complex front end-solutions.
