The team
As our new SAP project manager, you will join a project management team with 7 co-workers with a varied set of experiences, competencies and skill sets within project management.
Our PMO is divided in two parts, you will be part of the business projects delivery team where we rollout and adapt some of the key business solutions for all of ROCKWOOL, including supporting Rockwools substantial growth through increasing capacity in both new and existing factories, offices and warehouses.
Our team is located globally in Hedehusene, Denmark and Poznań, Warsaw, Poland and Bridgend, Wales, though we still manage to maintain a good team spirit across borders. We have a wide range of experience internally in the team, and we take pride in our great cooperation.
The role
Your main focus will be leading SAP roll-out projects within ROCKWOOL OPCOs and support the whole delivery process from initial planning to execution and closure, together with your allocated project-team of dedicated and experienced team members.
Overall, your responsibilities can be defined by leading, planning, executing, reporting and evaluating with more concrete tasks such as:
- Daily management of your project team, including resource administration
- Collaborating with management and based on assignment refining the scope of the project
- Reviewing the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis
- Completing ongoing project status reports and meeting with the steering group
You can expect 2-3 days of travel activity approximately every two months but varies according to need. Your level of travel is a temperamental call as well and you are able to impact your travel schema based on own project management style and preference
You offer
- Strong project management skills, business analytical and SAP implementation experience
- Experience in leading at least one of the SAP core modules implementations (SD, MM, PP, LES, FI or CO) or optional modules (WM, QM or PM)
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience in implementing these in both a manufacturing and multi business applications environment
- Some experience of SAP ECC 6.0 is required but you could also have experience from other ERP implementations.
- Bachelor or master’s degree within engineering, manufacturing or IT
- Write and speak English fluently
