You’ll step in as Lead Developer with full responsibility for backend and infrastructure – reporting directly to C-level founder – and help shape the future of both the product and the team.

The role

You’ll combine hands-on coding with people leadership. We want someone who’s technical, but just as motivated by guiding and energising others.

• Own and scale our Laravel API and AWS setup.

• Mentor and inspire a small team of developers.

• Solve performance bottlenecks and prepare the platform for larger enterprise rollouts.

• Collaborate closely with product and leadership in 6-week Shape-Up cycles.

• Contribute across the stack (Vue.js/TypeScript, React Native) where needed.

What we’re looking for

We care about your attitude and drive as much as your CV. You don’t need to tick every box – what matters is that you bring clarity, leadership, and energy to the team.

• Strong Laravel/PHP experience (API development).

• Practical AWS experience (serverless, RDS, SQS, S3).

• MySQL skills, including query optimisation.

• Exposure to Vue.js + TypeScript and Docker is a plus.

• Most importantly: you want to lead a team, share knowledge, and build something together.
