Lead React Developer – Shape the future of our frontend architecture

Do you want to take the lead on frontend architecture in a modern React setup – and influence both tech direction and team culture across countries?

We’re looking for an experienced Lead React Developer to take ownership of the frontend in our new insurance platform. This role combines technical vision, hands-on coding, and close collaboration with other frontend developers in Denmark and Poland.

You’ll join a growing development department of 20+ people and work closely with other architects and lead developers. You’ll be reporting to our Head of Development, Lars Rye Petersen.

Your role – build, lead, inspire

As our new frontend lead, you’ll:

• Define and drive the technical vision for our frontend architecture
• Build shared components and align frontend efforts across multiple teams
• Guide and mentor frontend colleagues through reviews, sessions, and sparring
• Improve the developer experience and raise the bar for frontend quality
• Stay close to code while working strategically with our product and design teams

Our applications are used by insurance professionals – from policy sales and admin to claim handling and medical assistance.

Tech stack & tools

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Material UI (MUI), React Hook Form, Apollo Client
• Backend: .NET with GraphQL API
• Tools: GitHub (with Copilot), Azure, Jira, Confluence, Figma, Storybook
• Testing: Playwright (optional: Cucumber/Gherkin)

What we’re looking for

You’re an experienced React developer who enjoys taking ownership and creating structure. Ideally, you:

• Are an expert in React and TypeScript
• Understand frontend architecture and modern design patterns
• Are comfortable evaluating tools and turning vision into actionable steps
• Communicate clearly with both tech and non-tech stakeholders
• Care deeply about code quality, UI/UX, and frontend best practices
• Enjoy supporting and inspiring other developers

Bonus if you’ve worked with Figma, Storybook, automated tests (Playwright), or design systems.
